An intense week is behind us!
From June 10-12, we participated as a partner and exhibitor in the INTERMODAL IN POLAND Congress – the largest event in the industry, full of debates, networking, and study visits.

Katarzyna Czubakowska, President of C. Hartwig Szczecin International Freight Forwarders Sp. z o.o., participated in the debate “The Road Transport Market in the New Regulatory and Economic Environment,” moderated by Piotr Mikiel. The discussion focused on, among other things, the impact of EMS vehicles on supply chains.

As the President emphasized, EMS is a tool for freight forwarders that increases the efficiency and competitiveness of Polish carriers. Although already standard in 11 EU countries, it is still awaiting implementation in Poland. EMS is not a competitor to intermodal, but a partner – provided there is coordinated infrastructure development. The future of the industry is determined not by train length, but by the reliability of terminals and the quality of the logistics process. Rail remains the natural choice for mass and high-volume transport. EMS, in turn, will reduce unit costs and CO2 emissions, although it will still face driver shortages and road capacity.

⏱️ That’s why the team at C. Hartwig Szczecin International Forwarders Sp. z o.o. participated in comprehensive first aid training last week. We refreshed our knowledge, which can literally save lives.

What exactly did we practice in practice?
🔹Effective cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR),
🔹Fast and correct use of an AED,
🔹Code of conduct in cases of choking and sudden fainting.

Every day, we ensure that cargo reaches its destination safely, regardless of obstacles, but the health and safety of people is always our absolute priority. The training provided us with a powerful dose of practical knowledge and excellent training in working under time pressure.

With such a trained team, we feel much safer at work! 🛡️

Elections for the Council of the Polish International Freight Forwarders Association were held on May 22, 2026, and we are pleased to announce that our President, Katarzyna Czubakowska, has been elected a member of the Council for the 2026-2030 term. 🏆

Katarzyna Czubakowska pledges her active involvement in the development and operations of the Polish International Freight Forwarders Association, representing the interests of the freight forwarding community, strengthening the Chamber’s role as a modern and opinion-forming industry organization, promoting the Chamber’s initiatives, integrating the TSL community, and creating a space for the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and the development of competencies.

Last Saturday in Szczecin was filled with sporting excitement and fantastic team-building! 🏃♂️🏃♀️

Two teams representing C.Hartwig Szczecin International Forwarders Sp. z o.o. competed in the Swanson Business Race – Corporate Relay Race.

The event was a great opportunity to build relationships – we enjoyed a great atmosphere and healthy, athletic competition at the highest level. 💪

We have reason to be proud. One of our teams took 21st place in the mixed relay category, competing against a strong field of 132 teams!
